Taking part in JDP 2016 entitles you to a continuing medical education certificate: it is available online for all registered participants.
Among the services offered after the congress, the FMC certificate is arguably the most awaited: it evidences participation in the Paris Dermatology Days and the hours of continuing education packed into five busy days. As in previous years, it is made available online — no need to wait for a paper mailing, and the digital copy is easy to keep.
What the certificate confirms
The certificate confirms your registration and attendance at the congress, in line with the applicable declaration rules. It states the nature of the event — a scientific continuing medical education congress — and the period covered. As such, it complements other documents you may be asked to produce to record your education activity: registration confirmation, programmes of the sessions attended, materials consulted.
How to download it
- Go to the participant area of the website, protected by your personal credentials;
- check that your details — name, first name, registration number — are correct; a correction can be requested from the secretariat if needed;
- start the download of your certificate in PDF format;
- keep the document with your education records and forward it through your institution’s usual internal procedure if required.

- Does the certificate cover the pre-congress workshops?
- Participation in the congress, including the Tuesday pre-congress workshops, counts towards the attested duration of education. Special cases — registering for a single day, partial attendance — are handled on the basis of the attendance records.
- Can I request a certificate for a colleague?
- No: the certificate is strictly personal and named. Each participant downloads their own document using their own credentials.
- How long do I have to retrieve it?
- The service remains accessible throughout the site’s archive period, but it is strongly advisable to retrieve your certificate without delay — that way your file is complete whenever you need it.
- My employer requires a detailed record of the sessions attended.
- The general certificate can be supplemented by the scientific programme, which lists all sessions, and by your own notes. Where a specific need arises, the secretariat can issue a supporting document on a reasoned request.
