Recorded sessions and e-posters
Not every session fits into a crowded schedule: recordings and e-posters help you catch up on what you missed and go deeper into what you enjoyed.
The Paris Dermatology Days leave behind a considerable body of content: 89 FMC courses, 26 forums, 18 oral communication sessions, 13 workshops, not to mention the plenaries and the Saturday morning “What’s new”. To extend the congress beyond its five days, the recorded sessions and e-posters were made available to registered participants in a dedicated area of the website.
What the recordings contain
Audio recordings of sessions, synchronised with the speakers’ slides, are the most faithful way to revisit a complete FMC course or listen again to a specific point. The plenary sessions — “Caring for generations Y and Z” on Thursday, ACTUS on Friday — are among the most watched, as are the everyday-practice forums, whose rhythm of exchange lends itself well to a second listen. FORUM 14 — Objectifs Peau, devoted to the major epidemiological project of French dermatology, was among the sessions participants most asked to be made available.
The e-poster library
Electronic posters are another treasure of the congress. Available on screens in the dedicated area and then online, they cover clinical observations, research work and experience reports that never make it to the podium. Keyword search lets you find the work of a team, a theme or a specific condition. A few notes during the congress, listing the posters worth revisiting, remains the most effective method: five days pass quickly and references get lost easily.
How to access
- Sign in to your participant area with the credentials created at registration;
- choose the day and format you are interested in: FMC, forum, plenary, workshop or oral communications;
- for posters, use the search by theme or author to focus your browsing;
- keep your bookmarks handy: access is open, but a pre-drawn list of sessions saves time.
A learning tool in its own right
Revisiting a session weeks after the congress is no second-best option: at a distance you absorb the key messages better, you can pause to check a figure, and you compare what you heard with your own practice. For dermatologists who could not travel, or who secured only one day away from the clinic, the recordings make it possible to follow the bulk of the programme. It is also a natural bridge to the next edition: the 2016 content sheds light on the topics that will continue in 2017.

To place the recordings in the context of the whole congress, see the scientific programme; for the key dates of the next edition, the call for FMC sessions for JDP 2017 is online. Trouble signing in? The Contacts page puts you in touch with the secretariat.
