JDP 2016 in pictures
Five days, dozens of rooms and thousands of faces: a look back in images at a dense, studious and warm edition.
Telling the story of the JDP through the programme alone would miss the texture of the congress: the queues outside the most popular rooms, conversations that spill into the exhibition aisles, the hum of the coffee breaks, the concentration of residents at the poster boards. The official photo album gathers these moments, day by day.

Tuesday 6 December: the opening
The first day sets the tone: pre-congress workshops in the morning, the general practitioners’ forum in the afternoon, then the traditional opening evening. In the photographs you can watch the reception area fill up and the first badge-and-handshake exchanges between colleagues who, for some, meet only once a year.
Wednesday and Thursday: the scientific heart
These are the densest days — 59 then 54 sessions. The images show full rooms at the FMC courses, the diversity of speakers and the audience’s attention during the plenary “Caring for generations Y and Z”. Thursday afternoon deserves special mention: the interventional dermatology meetings and FORUM 14 — Objectifs Peau drew an engaged audience, curious about the epidemiological data presented.
Friday and Saturday: the closing highlights
Nurses’ Day, the ACTUS plenary, the international session and the poster sessions marked Friday. On Saturday morning, the “What’s new” segment closed the edition in a concentrated format, before participants already turning towards the following year. Photographs of the prize ceremony speak to the vitality of French-speaking research.
The exhibition, a congress within the congress
The partners’ stands are no mere backdrop: here you discover therapeutic developments, meet the teams of the French Society of Dermatology, and often arrange to attend the satellite symposia. Pictures of the aisles capture the continuous movement between sessions.
Image rights
Photographs of the congress are published with respect for participants. If you appear in an image and wish it to be removed from the album, write to the secretariat quoting the photo reference: the request will be handled promptly. A question about a particular image, or a request for use in the press or for teaching? The Contacts page gathers such enquiries.
The pictures complement the congress content: to return to what was said, go to the recorded sessions and e-posters, and to see what comes next, follow the dermatology news.
